Senior / Advanced .Net Developer

Our Client is an enterprise software development consultancy serving both local and international clients. We are currently seeking a skilled .NET Developer with extensive experience to lead the transition of a legacy system to modern technologies.

This is a brand-new project with exciting opportunities ahead!

Technical Skills:

We’re looking for a developer with 5-7 years of commercial development experience in enterprise systems and a strong mix of the following technologies:

• 5+ years working with MVC, .NET Framework 4.8, and jQuery (This is a Hard Requirement)
• Bonus: Experience with Telerik / DevExpress is highly advantageous
• Experience with importing and processing documents, such as Excel files, will be an added advantage.

• .NET Core Web API and Back-End Development
• MS SQL Optimization Knowledge
• Software Security Knowledge (Authentication & Authorization)
• Data Encryption and Obfuscation (Data at Rest)
• JavaScript Frameworks: Angular, React, or [URL Removed]
• Azure Cloud Storage
• Azure MS SQL
• CICD Pipelines (Azure) And GIT

Behavioural Skills:

This is a consulting role, requiring:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The confidence to engage directly with clients and guide decision-making
• The ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
• Providing constructive feedback and conducting code reviews
• Staying updated with new technologies and best practices

Position details:

• Based in Durban, KZN, South Africa
• Hybrid work model: Work from home and KC Office is available within the local area
• The client is located in Durban, so on-site visits are required from time to time
