Your Role in the Centre of Excellence
As a Senior Solutions Architect – Integration & Automation, you’ll lead customer engagements from the Johannesburg hub, architect enterprise-grade integration strategies, and shape pre-sales opportunities to maximize the exclusive client’s strategic value. Reporting to the Sales Director in Johannesburg (solid line) with a dotted line to the Development Manager/CTO in Cape Town, you’ll drive discovery, propose transformative solutions, and guide clients through complex digital journeys with measurable business impact.
This is a high-ownership, high-impact leadership role blending strategic architecture, pre-sales advisory, and deep client collaboration to architect resilient, scalable ecosystems.

What You’ll Do
• Lead customer partnerships to analyse complex systems, map enterprise workflows, and architect strategic integration opportunities.
• Orchestrate executive-level discovery and requirements workshops to align technical and business imperatives.
• Architect, document, and pitch bespoke integration solutions leveraging the exclusive client, influencing pre-sales cycles and deal closure.
• Drive advanced data and process modelling, transformation mapping, and governance for best-practice configurations.
• Provide architectural oversight and hands-on guidance during integration design, build, optimization, and go-live phases.
• Collaborate with internal Solution Engineering, pre-sales, and support teams to accelerate value realization and upsell opportunities.
• Champion post-implementation reviews, ROI analysis, and continuous optimization to deliver sustained outcomes.
• Shape internal knowledge repositories, platform evolution, and thought leadership through case studies and best practices.
Who You Are
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance.
• Deep expertise in ERP and Financial systems processes.
• Relevant ERP or iPaaS certifications (e.g., Sage, NetSuite, the exclusive client, Workday, Oracle, etc.).
Other Qualifications
• ERP Certifications in Syspro, Netsuite, Sage.
• Proven experience architecting with the exclusive client or similar iPaaS platforms.
• Advanced low-code / no-code platform mastery.
• Strong scripting, API development, and custom integration exposure.
Experience Required
• 6 to 8 years in senior integration architecture, solutions consulting, or enterprise implementation leadership.
• Comprehensive command of ERP ecosystems: Workday, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage, etc.
• Expert grasp of finance process flows, transformation initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
• Track record designing high-stakes integrations for Financial Institutions, Manufacturing, and eCommerce.
• Authoritative knowledge of integration standards, patterns, principles, layering, and guidelines.
• Proficiency with enterprise Architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Unified Method for transformational leadership.
• Experience partnering with C-level enterprise architects, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical architectures.
• Hands-on mastery of data modelling, transformation logic, and enterprise-scale migrations.
• Deep familiarity with API paradigms (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), JSON, XML, and advanced middleware strategies.
• Proven ability to lead and influence client-facing workshops, design sessions, and pre-sales demonstrations.
Desirable Competencies
• Leadership in financial processes transformation, HR integration, and large-scale data migrations.
• Extensive experience in transformational integration projects, including hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• Elite cross-functional collaboration with Finance, HR, IT executives, and pre-sales teams.
• Strategic understanding of integration technologies; hands-on expertise in any integration software highly advantageous.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication for executive presentations and proposals.
