SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER for highly succesful Systems Integrator

Your main duties will involve but not necessarily be limited to the following responsibilities:

Main duties and responsibilities

Resolving all escalations from Tier 2 support
Implement changes and projects such as version upgrades and migrations
Project implementations and management
Scoping/Pricing projects from Pre-sales phase
Formulating SOW outlining deliverables
Formulating Gantt Charts with accepted dates and timelines
Client liaison with updates, and general communication
Perform proactive optimization and implementation best practice
Document processes and procedures to increase repeatable quality and automation
Develop relationships and communication throughout the company and with customers
Conduct implementation of Hardware and Software projects based on Wintel and Virtualization platforms

Essential skills and experience

Minimum 8 years’ overall experience in IT MSP Environment
Advanced experience with Windows / [Phone Number Removed];
Intermediate to advanced experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, PKI etc.
Intermediate experience with VMware vSphere 5.5 or above
Intermediate experience with Hyper-V 2012 or above
Good understanding of IP addressing and subnetting
Fundamental understanding of mass storage like SANs and NAS devices
Fundamental understanding of VLANs, routing, firewall behavior, packet shaping etc.
Comfortable working in server rooms / datacentres racking and cabling up kit
Strong communication (both written and verbally) and comfortable face to face
Sound ITIL framework mind-set in terms of structured incident management, request management, change management, contractual scope aligned etc.
Good knowledge of Exchange 2013 and above
